This is a good question. This question has been disturbing the minds of all well-meaning persons through out history. The best example is given in the illustration of a policeman chasing a criminal. The criminal while fleeing is reciting the national anthem. Should the policeman stand to attention or continue chasing?
This country is full of thieves chanting the national anthem. They themselves will turn back and accuse the policeman of violating the law.
The policeman who catches the thief even when the thief is chanting the national anthem is a statesman.
This is the answer.
