The main reason is not to pray as such but to pray when you are clean.Cleaniness does not only mean that you show your face washed.Cleaniness means that of the organs which are exposed or used the most .Hands feet ,face and even genitals(everybody excretes and litters)so the basic idea is to be clean. Now comming to the other point sitting behind and shoulder to shoulder with one another..here it is to show that before god there is nobody who is superior.A poor sits should to shoulder with rich,bends towards allah even when rich person is behind him or afront of him in another row..which never makes a difference when you pray as to allah all humans are equal. Now Mr Katta Nunu change your behaviour and hatemongering towards muslims and Islam.Your destructive criticism spreads communal hatered and even does not help your religion.But due to some people as you it brings bad name to whole community
