Taj Mahal is indeed Tejo Mahalaya my take on it
by BostonTechee on Jul 24, 2008 11:30 PM

There is a saying "History is always written by victors"

There are several historical facts that have been twisted by kings and emperors to suit their wishes. Yes I am convinced about the Tejo Mahal story as well as the fact that the hands of the chief architect were c.u.t off, many times Mughal emperors also c.u.t off the heads of the "karigars" or artisans. Also remember the fact that during the tyrannical Mughal rule, it was a crime even to speak against the written history that the emperor has decided its written as, you raise your voice and your head was cut of as voice of decent were always supressed by the Mughals.

That even makes the proofs given by Mr Oak even more interesting as they are gathered from local folklores. We Indians have shamelessly gulped down the history written by the Mughals, the British and latter the Leftists without ever questioning the authenticity of that.

Hence I fully subscribe and believe that Taj Mahal was indeed a Temple of Lord Shiva, as much I believe that there lies a sunken city of Dwarka in the sea and there are indeed 7 submerged temples in sea at Mahabalipuram.
