Noticing this, Yerramnaidu rushed to him and tried to persuade him against voting. Immediately four to five MPs of Congress including Renuka Chowdhury rushed to AKV Naidu and surrounded him and forced him to put in the Slip Ballot in favour of UPA. Yerramnaidu had to remain a mute spectator. The other MP coolly pressed the button without anybody noticing it and cross-voting came to light after the results were out.
