The CPI(M) has acted so desparately. It had already lost respect at large for its arm twisting methods against the govt. Why against your veteran colleague? It only completes a picture devoid of commonsense...even if the Left's arguments are correct, there is a more sensible and decent way of conducting yourself. It would have probably got more support that way... there are definitely more people opposing the deal. They could easily have been brought together and public support could have been garnered for better representation.
