We have to clearly distinguish between WHAT OUGHT TO BE THE POSITION OF THE SPEAKER and WHAT IS THE POSITION THE SPEAKER IS ACTUALLY HOLDING. The moment he said he does not want to vote along with BJP, it is evident that his sympathies lied elsewhere. If he were so concerned about his conscience, he ought to have quit his MP so there will be no role for him along side BJP.
