RE:Rejoinder to my last message

Mr.Satheesh, the facts are otherwise. Already a Thorium plant is running at kalpakkam (the only one in the world). We have enough reserves of the same. One of the hidden agenda of US is to prevent us from developing that technology.

As per a statement given by Mr. Anil Kakodkar (Chairman of Atomic Engery Commission), we have the capacity to generate 10,000 MWe Nuclear power but the capacity of all Power Plants under NPCIL is only2740 MWe. That means we are only utilizing only about 25% of our present potential.

Also we do not make even Stand-by Diesel Generating Sets meant for Nuclear Power Plants 9conforming IEEE 382). The present deal will benefit only the US Equipment manufacturers and politicians/bureaucrats who can earn fat kick-backs.
