MMS already agreed on the terms. If india conducts nuke test then all supplied fuel and materials would have to be returned. No further supplies would be made.
This was one of the reasons it was opposed by commies and BJP. commies also had their old anti US attitude.
And like others you say it was great deal without knowing about the terms ?!
Its not surprising earlier congi's signed the enron deal and people like u said it was a great deal and they only realised they had been duped when eron started charging Rs 8.00 / unit of power !
