Great Day for India
by Radilhoulie Sote on Jul 22, 2008 09:50 PM

For the Communists and for China, it is a sad day. However, it is a victory for India. The Left must tell the people which country they are fighting for. Do they want to destabilise India or send India back to the Medieval Ages without power? Or do they feel that a power-sufficient India may take the reins of the world someday. The Nuclear deal as is portrayed is not beneficial as beneficial to India as it is to USA. I am sure that any party in power will see to it that USA does not make India do its bidding everytime. India has enough leaders of strong morale and patriotism to see that the country comes first everytime. The Left is paranoid. Rahul Gandhi may be pushing things a bit too far when he says that we should not fear the unknown. But, in this times of resurgence of ideas and capatalism, India cannot go back to colonial mentality. The time has come when India should shine. And it can. I wish the Left sees it and contributes to it growth and success. Even in the Left, I believe that there are many 'real' leaders who heave a sigh of relief that India has survived - the Left/Chinese onslaught.
