followers of Ali (RA) are the same who followed Umar (RA), Uthman (RA) and Abu Bakar (RA). it is only an idiotic believe that there can be any heir of prophet also. prophethood is solely Allah's work and He makes someone prophet as He wishes.
prophethood finished with Mohammad (SAWS) it self. now the best among the ummah was chosen khalifaa with consensus. there was not even a single conflict among the khalifaas. only some idiots who believe in racial and hereditary religion (what we call brahmanwaad) believe and try to impose their ideas on others.
