India should actively participate in all actions that USA and Israel take against Iran. There will be enormlus benefit for India. If India provides 200000 troops for occupation of Iran, we can expect USA to give a large chunk of Iranian gas and oil right to India and Indian owned companies. National interest should be the decdiding factr, past relationship does not matyter.
