Speaker is the Chairperson of the Loksabha and the party has no right to tell him to resign, they can bring no confidence motion against him. The party who is asking speaker to resign is doing unconstitutional thing. It is also duty of the person who gets elected in the post to resigne from the party immediatly for the time he is in chair of the speaker. There are few examples in past from the real democratic congressmen who have resigne from party when elected as speaker.
