Indecisive Mamata'di

Our Didi speaks the same language as our Left parties (anti-congress). She also tows the same line of politics as the Left did (anti-industrialisation). Just to stand aloof from the turmoil and watch others and having nothing much to do on her won will never lead her to either the people or to her own political aspirations. There is very common saying in Bengali that "Du nouko te paa dawa jaina" (you cannot put your feet on two boats at the same time)... but she always manages to do it. She did such a mistake earlier once when she heeded to Pranab Mukherjee's advice and resigned out of the Railway Minister's position and subsequently lost what ever good work she had done. Even now if she feels that this Congress government has not done much for the poor then there is no harm in casting her vote against the confidence motion rather than abstaining. After all she can go back to people in Bengal and say that it was the Left who supported this anti poor government and just before the Elections they acted as opportunists. As regards to Soumen'da is concerned, he himself is a local leader and could never establish himself (beyond some parts of Kolkata) and i fear cannot do much even if he has floated his own party.
