If you have valid information on our Uranium reserve then you know better. I thought India was keen to have some agreement about uranium supply with Australia. SO may be the deal is about Tehnology from USA as well as others like France, who can not supply until we sign NPT. This deal as per my understanding was to get over this restriction just for Civilian Power recators. Mil was exclude. Us has to follow its own laws for allowing the supply, so their own acts come into pictur. I am told that ifwe do not like to conform to them then we may not get the inputs from USA but others would be free to trade with us. Bush would obviously like to cal this a feather in his cap. The Indian element in USA is now very strong and may be thay are also behind pushing it as they would not be aware of the new Pres's likes and dislikes. This is my understanding, hence the support.
