CPM and Democracy
by Sankha Ghosh on Jul 22, 2008 01:00 PM

The very existence Communist Party of India, Marxist, Maoist or otherwise is a greater threat to Indian civilization and Democracy then anything else.

Who ever has been following them (they are ruling West Bengal for last 30 odd years) will collaborate.

* By definition, communist do not believe in Democracy - they believe in single party rule, by hook or by crook) - their professed objective to to establish a dictatorship of "workers"
* They are like a virus, gets entry into a political system by taking advantage of multi-party democracy and then sabotage all democratic institutions to make sure their party only rules.
* they will make sure by their crooked means that there are always poor and distressed worker around to take advantage of their miseries to be in power (just like Mayawati is making sure that the so called "dalits" remains dalits for ever)
* they will make sure with their crooked means that people are not educated (West Bengal is now in the bottom 5 most backward states as far as primary education is concerned). Andhra Pradesh has 300 engineering colleges, every other guy in IITs is from a village in Andhra, whereas in WB, even couple of years back, has less then 10.
* they are practicing this philosophy and crooked agenda of destruction for the simple purpose to be in power and spread their evil religion in West Bengal for last 30 odd years.
* solution - clean it up : understand and appreciate the fact that communism and democracy is like oil in water
