Amol, your Windows analogy does not make sense. People like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs et al of the world depend on the army of Indian software writers, designers, architects in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata etc for the next generation of Windows for an unrelentingly wired-up world.
But the houses of Wipro, Infosys and so forth hiring all these clever software minds, also need electricity. The Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, of the world will see to it that Narayana Murthy, Azim Premji and all their cohorts of the new India's software industry don't run out of electricity.
That's right, there's two-way traffic, get used to it. Stop trying to cast the wool over people's eyes.
