A Communist Nationalist?Is it not a joke? 1.Where was their nationalism and patriotism,when even as CPI’s student volunteers were marching in a procession against the British regime following the Quit India call by Mahatma Gandhi, Arun Bose, head of the party’s youth brigade went running after them asking them to stop and turn back, shouting: ‘The party line has changed, comrades’! Because Soviet Union had joined hands with allied forces. It simply shows that fight for independence had no value for them. 2.Where was their nationalism and patriotism,when Dange and group went to Soviet Union to seek guidance from Stalin in 1951?It is part of history now that they were simply rebuffed by him. 3.Where was their nationalism and patriotism,when China invaded India in 1962?Even today CPM does not consider China as aggressor. Even today China's sinister design is well known.China is claiming a big chunk of Indian territory as part of their own country,but communists are silent on that. 4.When these communists talk of India to be a satellite of America,I simply admire their cleverness.Till today America has done no harm to India,where as China humiliated India at every occasion.Its not America ,but China which helped Pakistan in acquiring nuclear and missile capability. It is in fact China not America which wants to make India its satellite and communists,though desirous of seeing that to happen, finds nuclear deal and other such things which will make India
