RE:RE:France backs India ahead of IAEA meet
by putluru murthy on Jul 18, 2008 05:59 AM

if it were that an easy task to generate power from solar hydro or thermal means ,,,then why is India running behind US... may be we have to assess and think that all over the world the solar power is merely a non existant source commercially, yes for house hold purpose it is viable but not when it comes to industrial purpose, coming to hydro power ....if you are aware we are into the rainy season and there are states which are still not able to generate any power out of their hydro generators...still they have long hour power cuts..say in hyderabad the capital city of AP its officially 3.5 hour power cut...not to say about the rural areas in this state,.... thermal power not to say any thing about it...India imports one of the largest amounts of coal from Australia and china to generate thermal pwer...Dear frinds India has been pushing through these means since ages.... now it realised that this is not enough and needs something consistant.....more reliable....and which meets the needs of the power hungry India.....India has kept its sovereign right to keep its military nuclear bases seperate to those of the civil nuclear reactors....if Today India is talkled about becoming a super power its not a joke to realise it....we have to stand along and make this true..
