Votes & nukes
by Bodh Ramdeo on Jul 19, 2008 08:59 PM

India has very little oil and gas, which is slated to run out in a couple decades anyways, and a significant amount of low-grade coal- that's it. All this talk of Solar, Wind and other environmental friendly energy is ways off and will not be able to produce the huge amounts of energy that will be required to feed the huge, expanding energy needs of this huge, growing nation.
Where is that stop-gap energy to come from? Yes, nuclear energy!
