This comes with the logic that if you fight elections under a banner means you vouch for that party policies, else if are against the policies of the party, you are free to leave. The problem is that the parties fight election on one set of theories and then totally change its stance once the results are out and situation turns its head. A classic example is Cong SP alliance on one side and TRS, TDP alliance on the other.
