Confidence
by Sankha Ghosh on Jul 17, 2008 05:32 PM

I think time has come for India (we Indians) to be realistic, humble and pragmatic and dream big. Almost 100% (even children in the pseudo communist families, they love to settle down in America, Mr. Bardhan's son is in University of Berkeley, California) of all Indian middle class love America and what America stand for - for Freedom & Individuality. We love to study in American Universities, love their films, love their enthusiasm and technology, love to work in America, but most importantly we love their courage and commitment for their beliefs. (we bow down to Afghanistani terrorists and hijackers, while they kill them all in retaliation)
It is not about whether Americans are some sort of holy cows, they have their own short comings (Vietnam, Iraq, Central America) like the communist also have, (Cambodia's Pol Pot killed 6 millions of their own in the name of revolution)
So the facts is, we have around 100 bombs to scare away our enemies (Pakistan, China) from attacking us, so it is now time for economic and social development only. The best way to achieve that is to realize where we stand today among all nations/civilizations, and where we have to go, from where we are going to learn and adapt. The leading nation of the world that stand for Freedom & Individuality is the natural choice and definitely that is never going to be a China. China and India may be both very ancient civilizations, but we are miles apart in our beliefs and ethos. These pseudo Indian communists
