India has vasr reserve of coal and potential hydro electric sources. Solar power can be a big hit in India.
Nuclear plants are not for electricity. It is much cheaper for Tamil Nadu( where all nuclear plants are located) to import coal from Australia to produce electricity.
Nuclear plants are really for nuclear weapons and that is exactly the place Americans want to hit to stop India having any nuclear weapons.
123 Deal is NPT in another name.
