Nuclear Deal

India should ask question whether it is better to have abudant electricity and other peaceful uses of nuclear technology or or abundant nuclear weapon's pile.
US-India deal cannot go on ad infinitum. It will be over after setting up some nuclear power plants. India still will have to work for energy independence through her own thorium and fast breader reactors. No country or group will go on supplying uranium ad infitum. Since India has the potential to be fully self-relaint through its thorium rsources, the present deal is good in moving India faster towards setting more fast beader reactors by producing mor uranuim indigenously from the nuclear power we generate through the magnanimity of the present deal which enables us to have some nuclear power palnts.
The power plants which we run on inported uranium will be require to be run in future by our own fiisile material produced from thorium,
India is already a nuclear power and nuclear weapons state. She has always sopported non-proliferation.
No body can take soverign right of India being nuclear weapons state if India thinks it to be necessary even in immediate future,
Sanctions from the nuclear power states stopping North and South Korea, Libya and Iran may be OK in view limited uranium resources in the world and may be good for these countries in the final anlysis.
