Painful
by Gopal on Jul 14, 2008 10:18 PM

The congress, in the tread of darkness, sold India to foreign countries by signing the 123 agreement along with the 2005 declaration. They allowed another country to legislate rules binding on India. Once rules were framed in London for us to follow!!! Let them uphold the traditions and culture of the congress party headed by patriots like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Chatergi, Pandit Nehru, Indira Gandhi etc. Now they are acting like the small regional parties without any mass support. It is shameful for congress.
The important matter namely the N-deal is no more a subject for discussion in the political circles. Painful indeed.
All these unethical and anti-national processes are for the sake of nuclear energy that may flow by 2020 if the projects maintain the time schedule which seldom happens here. The cost of energy will be Rs20/-per unit and if the decommissioning cost is also added it will be Rs40/- per unit. The share of nuclear energy is only 10% of the total installed capacity. The nuclear waste disposal is the biggest problem waiting. Then why should we sign the deal? Then it can be termed a shoddy deal. It will negate all our activities for the nation building for rest of nation's life.
