I think the High court in Jammu issued the orders disallowing the placing of a transparent marble shivlingam at the amarnath cave. The petitioners were local Kashmiri Pandits who believed that placing an artificial transparent marble lingam at the cave would destroy the sanctity of the holy shrine famous due to the naturally forming lingam .
