Because you can't. It will take 15 years before you will see any energy, at that time you will be an old mother - and there would be some other althernative energy like Solar ruling the world. There are more then 100 billion dollars involved in this project. why not ask the people in Auroville, Pondicherry - who run the whole town off of Solar - replicate that throughout the country. it will be cheaper then $100 billion - and guess what its a one time cost - then its free as long as Sun Shines! Or please offer your back yard for N-waste dump. China does not care about that - since it would either dump it in Tibet or Nepal. Where would India dump it? America is too huge and it can spare few cities in the state of Nevada - for such dump. Where would India do it?
