China has made many advances in nuclear technology. It is one of the alternative fuels to oil. Why should India not take this opportunity and advance in this field ? What is so wrong about dealing with US ? Left makes claims but it is all shrouded in non-substantive allegations. I think N-deal should go ahead. IAEA safeguards is must to protect the public of India from operational hazards. Having said that, we must also make progress in other alternative fuel technology like solar/wind/hydel power which I agree are less hazardous and risky. Why not sign deals for wind power technology with some countries which are using it very well ??
