Why only police. Media is equally to be blamed for the talwars' character assesination. In the mad rush of getting more TRPs they seem to have thrown caution, decency and accurate reporting to the wind. Day after day they camped outside talwar's residence and treated them like hardcore criminals. They even took the credit when Dr. Talwar was arrested.
