The Hyde Act is a domestic Act of the US, whose provisions cannot be imposed on India one of India's domestic act cannot be imposed on the US.
The exception is where such an Act clearly mention as over-riding the 123 Agreement signed between India and US. No such mention of Hyde was mentioned specifically.
The Hyde Act was used only as a bogey by the Left to oppose the deal.
