even if I were to believe you ( which is difficult given your mindless diatribe against everyone on this forum), I submit that India is in a much better bargaining position as compared to 1998. A deal is all about balancing what you wish and what you can get--this deal would have been good in 1970 but in 2008, it is a sell out.
