There are scores of other economists in the Indian Statistical Institute and various other financial institutions who are equally competent if not more. MMS became the PM just because the wise former PM Sri PVNRao stumbled on his name and made him the FM. He is the PM SOLELY BECAUSE OF HIS LOYALTY TO THE GANDHI FAMILY AND ALSO BECUASE HE CANNOT BACKSTAB THE HIGH COMMAND AS HE IS NOT A PROFFESIONAL POLITICIAN.
