Advani - Hawth turned soft - Believable?
by jamsheed basha abumohammed on Jul 11, 2008 06:43 PM

As a Leopard cannot change his spots, so is man cannot change his character. After all these years of hawkish outlook and practices, if some one in the BJP says that Advani has changed his attitude and has become soft,is unbelievable. His recent utterances, his stance towards riots in Gujarat where Lunatic Modi and his men had unleashed terror against minorities,no remose for his Hindutva practices, no love for minorities and many more negative qualities in him go to prove that this man will never change. His only ambition at final stage of his is to become the PM, which would not be fulfilled in his life time. He was trying to don the mantle of the Iron Man of India, V.Patel.As a matter of fact, he was no where near the great man's character and political acumen. Many many not like Patel, the Hawk, but his admirable quality being he stood his ground against Nehru's leadership. If there was any challenge and headache to Nehru, it was Patel all the way. Advani should first spell out that he is for all Indians and not Hindus alone. Then only he can become the PM or else, the minorities would have reservations about this man. A PM candidate must take all people along, soften attitude towards their problems, regret the past, expresses solidarity with their sufferings, apologise to the nation for the martyrdom of Babri Masjid, admonish Modi for his role in the Gujarat riots, pay adequate compensation to the victims etc., alone would fetch him a place in the hearts of minorities.
