1) Can we be able to test nuclear bombs even after this deal with US?
At present what is more needed electricity or Nuclear Test. Indian scientists have already stated the we have ample of statistics to carry our Nuclear technology indigenously but we do not have fuel to feed the reactors. So what do we about this? Without fuel, you can not even conduct tests!
2) If we can test then is there any clause which says that fuel supply will be stopped?
Yes, they are interlinked as per Hyde Act, but why is Nuclear Test needed when we have enough statistics to carry on Nuclear on our own!
3) what about spent fuel? Can we be able to reprocess it or not?
4) What is the assurance of fuel supply?
NSG is assuring the fuel supply till India sticks to the signed agreement.
5) Can we continue with our own thorium based research (fast breeding?)
Yes, it is entirely decoupled.
6) Can our foreign policy be independent of fuel and technology supply for our reactors? or it is interlinked?
Well the pact does put barriers on foreign policy.
7) Can we have new technology or we will be using old type of technologies which are dumped elsewhere?
India is already part of ongoing Fusion club which is next generation of energy source. Technology wise India has wide market ranging from countries USA, UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Japan to get technology from. If one nation provides old technology, India can always approach another nation which it d
