The main culprit is the media, in making a chaos out of this serious issue of Nuclear deal for India. Background: 1. India is not a signatory of NPT. Its a violation at international forum, we have to agree. 2. India has done 2 tests, in violation to NPT, without signing it. 3. India has a good record of managing n-capability. We are beng rewarded for this by offering this deal to us. In turn it is helping other countries that supply N-fuel, so be it. RETURNS FROM DEAL: 4. India is getting a special status at IAEA. Not part of weapons state nor part of non-weapons state. Is'int this a unique favour. 5. We can get fuel and tech-exchange thats all we want today to overcome eneggy crisis. The media and so called N-experts are wanting a guaranteed supply of fuel. How can this be practicaly possible. Its like asking for guarantee for Petrol/deisel supply from gulf countries. Finally everything depends on the situation. It would be our wisdom and planning that we maintain critical/threshold stock of fuel at all times. 6. Today India is getting benefitted, thats what matters. We are looking for and discussing too much negative aspects of this deal. But what about the positive aspect. 7. US is the first country to sign with India. Later every country of NSG has to sign seperately with us. So we are un-necessary limiting our focus to US, other countries including Russia has to be dealing with India. 7. Its so sad that for such a serious issue, the government has been made
