The Govt cleverly ignores the following part of the agreement between US and China and the absence of this line in our agreement
"The parties recognize, with respect to the observance of this agreement, the principle of international law that provides that a party may not invoke the provisions of its internal law as justification for its failure to perform a treaty"
This means that the domestic laws of US will not apply in case of the agreement with China, This is not true in the case of our agreement.
