A naughty little boy lifted the skirt of a doll he found and peeped inside (Boys will always be Boys). Then very loudly to the embarrassment of his adult audience in room he wondered “why is she wearing a skirt if she has nothing to hide?" That naughty boy had a point that unfortunately the suave and politically correct Pranab Mukerjee doesn’t seem to have. If the Congress doesn’t have anything to hide why does it need to keep the agreement behind a curtain? There could be many good reasons for a government to keep its global agreements under the warps but to suggest they have to 'join the government' to get a peep at it stupid! Every one of the MPs that sit in the parliament are representing a segment of this nation by denying those that don’t sit with the treasury benches the right to this information would it be denying the people of that area to be apart of the democratic process? The N-deal, by any which way you look at it, is good. Even if we don’t get instant energy security , we get recognized as a nation that the world at large must accept and work with. The bi-partisan support that this deal got in the US Congress and the fact that UK , France and Russia have all extended there support is part of the world accepting this nation . This could be a feather in the Turban of the Dr Singh. Why is he not giving it the transparency that it demands?
