Joseph, Good one, though u cud ve added that the Inflation is no less attritutable to The Left. They hv opposed disinvestment in profitable PSUs, even from 95-100% to 75-80%. There was no logic about their opposition as Govt share wud hv still been more than 75% ?! This wud hv given the Govt about 30-50,000 Cr money which cud hv helped fund the Farm Loan Waiver. Now the govt cannot reduce taxes/duties to bring down the fuel/steel/cement prices due to the need for allocating 71,000 Cr for the waiver !
