Your pro congress tilt is fully understandable. However, you must not forget that our PM could say 'bravely' that the govt would proceed with the nuclear deal only after the "deal" had been finalised with the SP back home. Had there been no support from SP, this govt would have never proceeded ahead with the nuclear deal & would have continued to dance to the tunes of Left parties. Also, you are factually wrong in saying that BJP offered PM's position to Mulayam. In UP, its the BSP which suits the BJP more as an ally rather than the SP. Moreover, now when hardly 8-10 months are left before the general elections are held in the country, BJP would never want to form the govt. as it would have to pay the price for the wrong doings & wrong policies of the UPA government. Also, you have said that the Congress party would never do anything that may udermine the established parliamentary practices. Please remeber how the same govt. had stopped Arjun Munda of BJP to from the govt. in Jharkhand despite the fact that it had the required majority in the house. The 'clean image' govt. is being supported by the likes of Laloo yadav & Shibu Soren against whom dozens of cases are running in the various courts of law. Let's admit, when it comes to save the 'gaddi' all political parties apply all the tricks that they can, thus saying bye bye to the principles & policies that they stand for.
