Mr Bhadrakumar is laboring under the misconception or rather delusions that if India stays out of Afghanistan, the Taliban will regard India as a friend and leave her go her merry way. Nothing is further from the truth. The Taliban is no more just a purely Afghan-centric movement, but has been completely synergized with the hardline, fundamentalist AlQuaieda movement, seeing itself as the frontline army against the enemies of Islam, and having been brain-washed by their Paki bosses, that India is their major enemy in the 'hood, especially being a 'kaffir'(Hindu-majority) country - the ideal target. And despite all the 'secularist' appeasement clap-crap from the Left and Congies, these Islamo-fascists will never cease their attacks against India, as long as Pakistan exists and India remains predominantly Hindu -it has very little to do with the US invasion. After all, Taliban was created by Pakistan as its proxy army, first to overrun and rule Afghanistan at their behest, and then to be their foot-soldiers in their proxy way with India. It's time you folks got real, and stop looking through rose-tinted glasses.
