The need of nuclear fuel
by Sudip Bhattacharjee on Jul 09, 2008 12:15 AM

I understand what the writer is saying. But I have a simple question if anyone can answer. Name another country other than USA is willing to supply nuclear fuel now or in future. Just name one country. In your quest to answer to this question, you will find that most nuclear suppliers will not give fuel to India unless India signs the NPT or CTBT. Only USA is willing to get around this requirement and waving this. In any deal, you give something in return of gaining something. What is communists are asking is a deal without giving anything, then it is not a deal. That is absurd and impractical.

The bottom line is we need the nuclear energy in future and no country except the USA is willing to help us at this moment. Period.
