You are right. In the past nearly 2000 years, Indians have not made any significant invention. The only 2 Indian researchers who have received a Noble Prize since its inception are C.V. Raman and Amartya Sen. Rabindranath Tagore (British Indian) got the NP for a literary masterpiece. If there is a dearth of intelligence, than we should use talent like Dhirubhai said "copy well". That will atleast take us on the development path. Dhirubhai did it. So should all of us.
