What type of clean energy you are talking for. Nuclear based electricity plants are not at all safe in any parts of the world, particularly sensitive country like India where Terrorists are free to do anything at any time, because of political appeasement of Indian Political Parties. Second, normal citizen will never get 24 hrs. electricity and they cannot afford the high rate of electric costs because of the current poor capacity of buying of Indians. Don't expect that you can give 100 percent electricity to all at cheaper rate even if you are going for Nuclear Electricity as per 123 deal. With regards to selling the independence which is the most important thing is that we cannot do any type of nuclear experiements without getting YES from USA. It means we will have to fully depend on USA for our nuclear developement and they will dictate terms for our foreign policy as well. As happened in Liberalisation, we are taking money from all available funds organizations such as IMF, ADB etc. and Indians who have enough money is depositing money to foreign countries. Unwanted and illegal money is flowing to India in the name of liberlisation and it is badly affecting Indian economy. People are not getting proper education, proper essential infrastructure like ROTI KAPADA, MAKAN - but by signing the agreement, AMERICAN COMPANIES can make their good fortune in India and INDIAN POLITICIANS WILL GET MAXIMUM BENEFIT to expand their foreign bank deposits elsewere.
