>> Just think, IF SOMEONE TOLD YOU, I WOULD GIVE YOU ELECTRICITY AT HOME ONLY TO MEET 10% OF YOUR NEEDS, BUT YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT I SAY, MY ENEMY WILL BE YOUR ENEMY, YOU WILL HAVE TO TOE MY LINE ON VARIOUS ISSUES AND IN SHORT YOU WILL HAVE TO DANCE TO MY TUNES......

First you are dead wrong that Nuclear energy will supply only 10% of India's energy needs. Over the long term it will supply a majority of India's energy needs. Nuclear fuel will last thousands of years, oil will run out in 100 max.

Secondly, your premise that we have to follow US is DEAD wrong.
There are dozens of countries: France, China, Russia, South Africa, Brazil. All have nuclear power plants. Many of them (except Russia) have plants built by the US. Are they forced t always follow the US?
