Energy (from fossil fuel) crises is worsening day by day. Biofuel is not affordable at the cost of food grains. Ethanol (from sugarcane molasses), biofuel from soybean, from maize and other agriculture produce is not affordable because farmers will switch-over to these crops which in turn causes shortages of food grains. Solar energy generation technology is also very costly. In the future if this technology is affordable again farmers will start doing "SUN FARMING" which in turn causes shortages of food grains. We have to search for another alternative fuel sources. About rising inflation, prices of agriculture produce have risen and farmers are benefitted. Wheat from Rs. 700/quintal to Rs. 1200 per quintal, Soybean from Rs.1300/quintal to Rs.2700 per quintal, cotton from Rs. 2100 per quintal to Rs. 3100 per quintal. Thats what we (farmers) want. Urbans have enjoyed the benefits of economic liberalization from 1995 to 2007. If farmers are enjoying today why it hurts urbans. During NDA regime, they said "INDIA SHINING" but they lost the election cause they ignored the agriculture sector, Chandrababu Naidu lost the election cause he ignored the farming sector and concentrated entire state's resources on the development of IT. People who are bashing congress government should note that they waived the loans on farmers, increased the subsidy on urea, DAP, seeds, insecticides, pesticides, herbicides and that will benefit the congress in the next election.
