Gurus are needed to keep India's spiritual wisdom alive...if Gurus are gone, then psychiatrists shrinks will fill the void. Humans will always need spiritual guidance & religion in one form or another. The vast reservoir of Hindu wisdom needs to be propagated, because otherwise people will be doing Crusades or Jihad. Like all people gurus need to be rewarded as well, just like a doctor charges fees for treating you. Do not expect altruism in the 21st century. Good gurus is what you want.
