Its better to see the repurcusion of Hyde 123 act now then 15 years later, when part of the economy depends on this power. It would be completely impossible to do Pokhran III when it is most needed - since there would be 1000s of job depending on this new infrastructure. So if PM says that there is no adverse effect of our doing the Tests, then let his statement be tested now - and avoid being a handicapt later on. And that is national interest. This govt behaves like there is no tomorrow. First they did not have courage to do a test after 1974, and critisized the BJP govt for doing Pokhran II. And now wants to behave like there is no torrow? why they object to debate on this deal in parlament? Is it democracy ? BJP would and must do the test now. Its not a whim - its national interest for the future.
