They are not doing this for votes, since no one wants separate TN here. Everyone here is for united India. If politicians support it, they should be getting money from somewhere. Besides, there is a thin line between eelam tamils and LTTE. I like eelam tamils like douglas devananda, varadaraja perumal, neelam thiruchelvam etc. But not the LTTE. The only solution is that if at all eelam is created, LTTE should have no role to play in it. Not only myself, but entire Tamil Nadu here hates LTTE. If TN had supported LTTE, then you would have got eelam. But TN hates LTTE and i am a part of it.
