1. SP & Congress are the biggest winners and BSP & Left the biggest losers. 2. BJP was opposing the deal just because they will not get the credit and they are the opposition and that means they HAVE TO OPPOSE IT with brains in pocket. 3. Left opposed it to because they are anti-US. Their high handed rhetoric for the country and the poor have been exposed with this and Nandigram. They could have shown that they are finally working to develop the country/state. 4. BSP opposed it at the last minute just to embarrass Congress and to become PM. 5. Congress was looking weak for not going ahead with the deal and caving in to Left’s pressure. Now they appear to be principled in what they believe in and and for the interest of the country. 6. SP will claim interest of the country with President Kalam’s (a muslim & BJP candidate) and Brajesh Mishra’s (National Security Advisor during BJP) endorsements to prove it.
Majority of thinking Indians want this deal to go through and finally it may.
