Nuclear Deal
by umesh pandey on Jul 05, 2008 10:02 AM

This nuclear deal should have been supported by all parties thus making it a political nonissue. The political parties have no credit to go in to this deal. This is due to change world situation after 9/11 and India should capitalise on it.This deal is good for the country and rare chance for India to deal with developed democracies of the world.
Political parties are trying to make an issue out of it for their short term benefits.
Leftist thrive on poverty and its alarming for them if eredication of poverty is attempted. Leftist thrive on ineffeciency and they are threatened if they have to deal with an open world where only effecient organisations thrive. Indians are hard working people. They need open policies and a chance to move forward. Leftists live in the world where trade unions block the development, subsidies eat away the national exchequre, people live under the patronase of the government and ultimately a sick and poverty ridden population governed by a single party rule. Russians lived in this idology and delusion then dicarded it, China moved away from it but in the name but our communists are kicking around since there is scope for them till we remain poor and rouge dependent on the state.
