The contractors constructing the Ram Sethu bridge and the other contractors who were to make the "rotten Coovam" canal near the TN secretariat (claiming to make it clean enough to arrange tourist boating) and those who were to have laid pipe lines to bring drinking water from Veeranam lake to Chennai(one of them died mysteriously in a hotel in Coimbatore decades ago)all of who with Karuna and his party were mesmerising illiterate and semi-literate with sweet tongued cine and political dialogues appealing to Tamil sentiments and looting the wealth for the children of the elite DMK politicians. Was any big project successfully completed in TN under DMK rule ever funded by state?
